The Home Edition allows you to review lessons just as your child sees them! This lesson interface has all the tools your child needs to work within a lesson. Look at the diagram below to learn more about how lessons are presented to students.
Lesson Progress Bar: Students can see each step in the selected lesson. As your child works through the lesson, the green circle will turn into a check mark, indicating that the step has been completed. The number of steps will vary based on the lesson type.
Reading Panel: The title, article text, and image are presented on the left side of the screen. In some cases, students may also see a video in this panel. This stays available through all lessons steps so your child can refer back to the article text as they work through the lesson steps.
Instruction Panel: The work students will do with the lesson is contained on this right side of the screen. They can navigate between the different tabs as they work and refer back to the article on the left side of the screen as needed.
Instruction Tabs: Students can click on these tabs as they work through the lessons. Options include:
- To-Do: Students will answer questions, review discussion questions, or compose written responses
- Notes: Students can jot down key details as they read
- Vocabulary: Students can review key lesson vocabulary terms, including the definition and pronunciation
